For No Reason
I feel like we keep agreeing to things.
Plans that are always supposed to happen
But they never do, do they?
The truth is, whatever we had,
No matter how brief is was,
Was beautiful.
But I can’t seem to bring myself,
To face you now.
The changed me and the changed you.
Honestly, I don’t know what to say to you anymore, and my feelings overflow like this. Continuing, never ending, and like embers of a past fire. My heart still glows for you. But it’s dying. And I’m scared.
Tell me, one more time, that we’ll never fade from each other.
That I’m worrying for no reason.
